Creak’s Rising

Welcome back loyal readers and first timers. True to the last few posts my writer’s block continues.. so here’s some fun from the past day or more.

Saturday was oil change day followed by winery. I probably should have taken photos at the winery because Ken from Mordor brought a folding table worth of cured meat.. it was wonderful.

Sunday I put together a masterpiece of a box to store hay for the goats. It’s made out of scrap and reused screws.. and it shows. On the plus side it matches the run in and see saw. Got a little village of garbage going. I still need to seal up the inside and waterproof the top but it’s just about done. Hopefully this will free up some space in my shed because even with only storing 2 bales at a time.. there’s hay everywhere. This is step 1 in the great shed clean out. It’s a simple 173 step process. Step 171 is ‘gather matches and gasoline’.

There's a leak in the roof somewhere.. on the other side of this monster. It's not fun to get around, and I'm not up for it tonight. Another project for another day!   Until then.. -Jed
