Jeep In a Heap

Have you read this book? It belongs to my son.. but it’s the story of my life.

You may recall from several posts that I have this Jeep. I bought it for too much money without a title. So it was destined for success from the beginning. I knew it was rusted and the engine needed work but just like my house every corner I looked around revealed another problem. So I did what any rational human being would do. I took it apart and spread it around my property.

After telling myself for years that I’m going to see this thing through I have decided that I’m not going to see this thing through. It’s too much and is getting in the way of.. everything. I listed it on a local forum. I sold a few pieces yesterday. Today a gentleman stopped by and we struck a deal for the whole thing. That’s right, I sold my pile of bolts and rust faster than I can sell a damn couch.

I have started to pack it up for departure this weekend. It’s neatly piled in boxes and crates. This is the easy pile. The body is going to be way harder.

So there you have it. I’m bummed. I’ll probably get over it.
